The church in Waltersdorf is a beautiful, four-part fieldstone church dating from the 13th century, with a transept in the west. Its walls, constructed of fieldstones, are up to 1.65 meters thick. Still surrounded by the old (now abandoned) cemetery, it stands at a crossroads marking the old village center. The well-jointed ashlar masonry and the four-part structure are entirely in keeping with the Romanesque style, although only a few remnants of its characteristic details remain.
