Graf MOLTKE III/IV is closed because it is still burning inside, or rather smoldering in a controlled manner. Small wildfires break out again and again in hot summers, and it could often have been discarded cigarettes if the fire started at the foot of the slag heap, as was the case most recently with the major fire in 2019.
