Street art "Everything Big Begins in the Small" by Herakut (Jasmin Siddiqui). This work is a real eye-catcher, and many visitors can see it here. The face design comes from a photo Herakut took of a three-year-old girl from Goch who was a bit mischievous. The eyes are amazing; the building blocks represent creativity. If we help our children develop this, they will find new paths and become open-minded people who are aware of their surroundings. If you look closely, you can also see the city skyline.

The church gained national notoriety after the church tower (built in the late 14th century) collapsed in the middle of the night on May 24, 1993. Fortunately, no one was injured; a service was taking place just hours before the collapse. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Maria_Magdalena_(Goch)

"You can hardly experience the Niers more beautifully: We invite you to take a seat on the bank and enjoy your stay at the NiersWellen, built in 2011. It was a more than successful start to the celebrations for 750 years of the city of Goch when the Goch NiersWellen were ceremoniously opened on July 9, 2011. The NiersWellen attracted thousands of visitors to the city and they clearly felt at home on the newly designed site where the swan pond used to be. A multi-level, curved terraced area directly on the bank of the Niers invites you to linger. Canoes or paddle boats can moor at a jetty. A modern children's playground, a lawn and a senior citizens' course offer further opportunities to stay." https://www.outdooractive.com/de/poi/goch/gocher-nierswellen/52858375/ https://www.geo3.de/nierswellen https://rp-online.de/nrw/top10-rheinland/nierswelle-goch_aid-9223407
