There is no longer any lifeguarding at the lake. The DLRG is no longer on site. On the entire west side, where the DLRG used to be, swimming and walking on the meadow area are now prohibited.

The summit cross on the Eisenberg is a bit difficult to find. If it hadn't been for the "Save the Eisenberg" campaign, you definitely wouldn't be able to reach the summit cross by bike, horseback or on foot. There is a small book at the summit cross that you can sign in.

This is where the “Eisenberger Häuschen” is located, as the Schlitzers call the little house in the forest clearing. You have a wonderful view over the Schlitzerland here. Thanks to the “Save the Eisenberg” campaign, you can continue to enjoy the view here. Even Kaiser Wilhelm II is said to have hunted here. Unfortunately, the house can only be viewed from the outside.
