In 2015, an old linden avenue from the former palace park was renovated. Planted around 1750, the oldest trees had become about 267 years old. Following the historical model, these were revitalized and the avenue itself extended, restoring the sightline from the southern shore of Zwenkauer See to the Trianon. https://www.zwenkau.de/portal/meldungen/neue-schilder-fuer-das-trianon-900000459-27490.html

The south wing of the building dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. In 1904, the north wing and the gatehouse between the wings were built. It has been used as a town hall since 1945. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amtsgericht_Zwenkau
