The formerly natural path has now (April/May 2025) been expanded by the local community of Nisterau into a wide cycling and hiking path between the communities of Nisterau and Hof (or vice versa). I think it's a shame, because the previous, rather narrow path was very easy to walk and cycle on. Now, the expansion of the path has created a wide forest highway. Fortunately, the surface is not thick gravel or fine sand, but rather a firm mixture that is easy to cycle on and walk on.
