I hiked past this highlight with my family on 23.8.25. I am adding a picture of a green meadow

Beautiful in every season. The forest is undergoing change, the Bredenbek (also known as the Uralster) flows naturally, meandering through the forest. It has been renaturalized in some areas. There is a network of bridle paths in the forest; walking, hiking and cycling are all possible.

The picnic I just wrote about actually included a short hike.

One of the tours that I have done several times and that I led as an ADFC tour leads to the Alsterquelle. I also planned a picnic there. My guests and I ate everything at home under the patio roof because it was raining terribly.
