For me, the most important thing is what Michael writes about the Iller Cycle Path. It's boring, with lots of forested stretches and no view. It's only usable from Immenstadt onward. The Günz Valley Cycle Path is varied, but it can get crowded on weekends.

Typical Allgäu, you need a bit of luck with the mountain views. So far, it's been decent for me.

It's hard to imagine how large the small stream can become before it flows into the Danube. A foot bath in the ice-cold water is refreshing and recharges your batteries on your bike. :-)

I prefer shopping in Sellthürn because it's quieter than in Immenthal. Combined with a tour from Kempten, it's simply perfect.

Sellthürn is a pleasantly quiet place to shop, and the bike path is beautiful. Tastes differ. I won't be shopping in Immenthal anymore, as it can take a long time due to the large crowds. That's why the simple, rustic seating area can be uncomfortable. It's next to the door with no physical separation from the store.

I have been here several times and everything has been said. Although it was always pleasantly quiet.
