Beautiful view across to the castle

Yes - but it's not a real spring, rather a drainage system of the slope. Not a very nice fact - it was built in the Third Reich, by forced laborers, whose camp was located to the left of the pipe. However, you won't find any records about it. Regarding the water itself - in my youth, it was a test of courage to drink it - which usually ended in diarrhea.

A beautiful sight of Eltz Castle; anyone who used to own a 500 DM note also had a beautiful view of the castle, it adorned their card.
