Tettenweis is a worthwhile stop for cyclists: The birthplace of Art Nouveau artist Franz von Stuck combines art history with village tranquility. A short detour into the village and to his birthplace at Kirchplatz 4 is well worth it. www.tettenweis.de

On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Alps. In the other direction, you can see the southern Bavarian Forest. Good asphalt, little traffic, hardly any incline.

The Gasthaus zur Post serves excellent, authentic cuisine. Everything is freshly prepared. For those who appreciate it, there are also dishes you won't find anywhere else, such as lung sausage or pressed sausage. Excellent value for money. And in the summer, a lovely beer garden under the chestnut trees is open.
