The Pharmacy Museum is a well-known specialist museum for the history of pharmacy. The museum is located in the approximately 900-year-old "Steinernes Haus" (13th century) in Hofgeismar. Museum garden: An medicinal and healing plant garden with around 150 plant species grows on an area of approx. 250 m². The Hofgeismar Town Hall is a significant historical landmark in the center of Hofgeismar. The oldest parts (including the cross vault in the cellar) date back to the 13th and 14th centuries. In the years 1728–1730, a two-story, baroque building was erected on the old foundations. The building impresses with its distinctive stepped gable, roof turret, a carillon, as well as its paintwork in the historical shade "Roter Odenwälder Ocker".
