A useful place when it rains, even for a short rest - nothing more.

The former estate of Lale Andersen and the house Juliane, which is even closer to the beach, are the few thatched houses on the island of Langeoog.

Just before the beach entrance, Langeoog's few thatched-roof houses are located on the left, including "Der Sonnenhof," better known as the Lale Andersen House. The Gerk sin Spoor also leads past the island cemetery, where Lale Andersen was laid to rest. From the bicycle parking area at the beach entrance, turn right to the hidden "Dünenoase," where you can find all sorts of delicious fish sandwiches, among other things.
