Well laid out, but I didn't take a closer look because the grass was much too high. It seemed a bit unkempt.

Actually, it was very nicely designed and informative. Unfortunately, the grass was so high that you couldn't see all the stones.

Now we begin to explore the castle grounds. Slavs have settled here before. There was a chapel in the lower gate, originally with a drawbridge over the moat that was once filled with water. There were originally three moats. The castle was largely completed in 1270. https://youtu.be/sCNikq-kH-Q

We go to the museum in the old stables, the exhibition begins with horse breeding and keeping. This is followed by an insight into winemaking and wine pressing. With many exhibits around us, we also learn something about the art of weaving, with traditional costumes and shoemaking on display. In one room, the whole history of the castle, the town and the period surrounding it. Finally, a look at the Biedermeier period, we leave the exhibition, walk through the gate and leave the castle. Here is our entire hike https://youtu.be/sCNikq-kH-Q

A mountain with a lot of history. You can read about it on an information board. Not far from here is the hilltop castle of Stargard. A very beautiful spot on earth, with picturesque orchards and a view of a beautiful hilly landscape.
