The estate was owned by the von Maltzahn family at the end of the 13th century, followed by the von Prehn family in the middle of the 14th century. In 1457 the von Halberstadt family owned the property. In 1908, Mr. Wriedt purchased the property and sold it to Georg Eschenburg in 1916. The Gottesgabe manor house was built around 1700 on parts of the cellar foundation of a medieval building. It is a strange house among the Mecklenburg country estates: originally built with three wings that stood in a triangle to each other, the triangular, paved and open courtyard inside the building was later roofed over in the middle of the 19th century. It is said that Klaus Störtebeker was a prisoner in the very old, vaulted cellars. The house's more recent fame is that the Saxon freedom poet Theodor Körner spent his last evening and night before his death in it. At the beginning of the 1990s, the manor house was carefully modernized and divided into contemporary rental apartments. https://gutshaeuser.de/de/guts_herrenhaeuser/gutshaeuser_g/gutshaus_gottesgabe_gemeinde_luetzow

The wedding linden trees are in the parish garden next to the cemetery and were probably planted around 1790 to build the rectory.
