The Badow manor house, also known locally as the castle, is located in the Badow district of the Schildetal community in the Northwest Mecklenburg district. The estate was first mentioned in documents in 1230. In 1906, after a serious fire, the manor house was converted from a classicist to a neo-baroque house by the architect Paul Korff.
