Longest Bench in East Frisia Along our cycle path network, directly on the „Deutsche Fehnroute“, a very special highlight has been placed in the Jheringsfehn district: probably the longest continuous bench in East Frisia. The bench offers space for around 50 people and was made from an approximately 80-year-old tree. It is ideally suited as a „rest stop“ for larger groups during a bike tour. A symbol of East Frisian hospitality.

The Jümme, a river in East Frisia, is approximately 18.3 kilometers long as its main channel. Including its entire upper reaches, its length extends to 94.64 kilometers. It is an important tributary of the Leda and meanders through the "two-river region" within the municipality of Jümme.

Here's an unusual bench. Even a group of cyclists can easily sit on it.

An old, dilapidated bridge over the Georgswieke between Neuefehn and Jheringsfehn.

In addition to the large, main avenue leading to Evenburg Castle, there is a small avenue leading to the castle's main entrance. Smaller, more open, but just as beautiful.

A very beautiful gatehouse to Evenburg Castle. Almost directly next to it is the free hiking parking lot.

Yeah, but there's almost always something to see... Especially because the Jümme is a river. I find it superfluous.
