Halfway along the Dents-du-Midi tour. Easy but quite long route. Very beautiful view of Lake Geneva at the start of the route then over the Illiez valley to Champéry. Some parts are a bit boring, you can't see the end! Possibility of stopping before the descent from the Antème hut and its very beautiful lakes. Very mineral place at the foot of the Dent-du-Midi where you can notice the very beautiful white layer, a sedimentary rock from the Cretaceous period (between 145 and 66 million years ago)

You climb almost 1,000 meters in altitude and 14 kilometers from the valley floor through countless switchbacks up to Plan de Croix. This town was also the finish of the women's Tour de Romandie in 2023; Demi Vollering, who lives in Switzerland, won the stage that year.

The Aigle-Illarsaz cycle bridge is a beautiful suspension bridge that crosses the Rhône and connects the cantons of Valais and Vaud. Designed specifically for cyclists and pedestrians, it offers scenic views of the surrounding area, including the Dents du Midi and the Catogne Mountains. The bridge is 85 metres long and has a wooden deck, making it a charming and stable crossing. It is also wheelchair and pushchair accessible, making it an inclusive route for everyone.

Great view, not many people, very good quality asphalt. You can go higher on gravel by road bike, it's a bit tense.
