The Vejle Windmill is the town's beautiful landmark. Located on the hill in the southern part of Vejle, the beautiful, old mill can be seen from large parts of the town. The 1.7-kilometer-long motorway bridge offers a magnificent view of the Vejlefjord, the town center, and the striking wave-shaped buildings known as "Bølgen." A stop at the viewpoints in Bredballe is particularly worthwhile to admire the architecture and the vastness of the fjord. It's a great spot for photos and a perfect place for a short break during an extended bike ride or hike along the east coast of Jutland.

Great location on the hill overlooking Gamborg Fjord. The church dates back to the 12th century – it is the oldest of the "four churches" and is considered the first church on Funen. It was renovated around the year 2000 in shades of yellow and orange, which can be seen in both the floor tiles and the wooden frame of the beautiful 16th-century wood carving "Anna Selvtredje" from Claus Berg's workshop in Odense. www.4kirker.dk/vores-kirker/fons-kirke
