"Old bridge" is a beautiful stone/bricks bridge over Kupa. It has been recently restored after being slightly damaged in the earthquake. Nice form and beautiful colour. Allegedly the "most beautiful bridge in Croatia". The bridge itself isn't all that new - it was only built 1925-1934 to replace the old wooden bridge, but the people of Sisak are very proud of it. Several models of this bridge exist in the city, including the one in the nearby park (see photo).

The park is beautiful throughout the warmer months. Spring brings lush greenery and active birdlife, while autumn offers vibrant colors. Yes, trailheads for family-friendly routes often have designated parking areas. For example, routes starting from villages like Čigoč or Popovača typically offer convenient parking options, making access easy for families traveling by car.
Generally, dogs are permitted on trails in Lonjsko Polje, but it's crucial to keep them on a leash, especially given the presence of wildlife and traditional grazing animals. Always check specific park regulations or signage at trailheads for any restrictions.
