The church itself has a history that stretches back to the 13th century, with significant renovations over the years. However, what makes this stop particularly special is the well-preserved runestone from the Viking Age. I think you'll appreciate seeing this tangible link to a bygone era right there in the churchyard.

Open to public. One can do this trail/s 24Hrs 7 Days a week. Just check before the tour if there is track maintenance going on, even though it happens very rare. Definitely some deep profile on wide MTB tires recomended with some good brake system & low gear group.

Beautiful moated castle from the 17th century with spacious green areas and a large park. Unfortunately privately owned, but nice to look at from the M745 (Svarte - Skarby) road.

The church in Blentarp was built of fieldstone in the second half of the 12th century. In the 13th century, two portals with stepped gables were added to the nave in the south. The round tower with octagonal spire and two buttresses probably also dates from this time. More Information: https://www.roundtowerchurches.net/rest-of-europe/sverige-blentarp/
