The summit top of Røverkollen is a stunning location. At the top of this 404-metre-high hill, which sits on the Oslo and Nittedal border, are two great attractions. There is a substantial concrete lookout tower and Bronze Age burial mounds. From the top of the tower you have great views down, overlooking Oslo, Nittedal, and the Oslofjord. For these reasons, it is a popular hiking and mountain biking destination.

Steinbruvannet is a very popular and scenic location. Here on the western shore you can see the lake from the trail. There is also a picnic spot with a bench seat that is simply an idyllic place to take a rest break. The view across the lake and the surrounding forest is absolutely beautiful.

This lake is gorgeous in every season: serene and frozen in winter, a beautiful blue surrounded by green in summer.
