The asphalt is now "semi" ... in the direction of Südergellersen (slightly uphill) this is less of a problem than the other way around ;-)

The Reihersee is a beautiful sight, but the B209 is certainly not the most scenic route between Lauenburg/Elbe and Lüneburg. It's better to cycle west via Bütlingen, Barum Dionys, or east via Echem, Lüdersburg, and Rullstorf ;-)
