Small, the Useriner Mühle settlement, which we pass through, is abandoned and the mill has fallen into disrepair. There was already one here in 1346. From the bathing area we look out over the Useriner Lake. The sun shimmers through the clouds. After a moment we continue, now back to the starting point of Klein Quassow. https://youtu.be/ZEiw-fpCyWI

We make a detour and reach the old wolf trap via a narrow path. If a wolf fell into the trap, it was brutally killed. The poor wolves. Back along the path, we leave the wolf path and head towards Zwenzow. The whole hike in pictures https://youtu.be/ZEiw-fpCyWI

A little further on, the sun shines through the trees. Looking around us, the moss shines beautifully in this light. We reach a family resort. Children and parents are having fun here. We walk parallel to it and after a short stretch we reach the Wolf Trail. Information boards show the way. The undergrowth is full of blueberry plants and ferns, there is always something to read, especially for children. https://youtu.be/ZEiw-fpCyWI

We walk along the forest road and turn at the intersection towards the national park and therefore also towards the Great Labussee. The trees are now high around us. When we reach the national park we get a brief glimpse of the water.
