Part of a very dark history. With a memorial and plenty of pictures of evil times. Right next door the SS bakery. Many buildings in decay

Great route and easily rideable with a road bike. In some places, it feels like rolling with the brake applied due to the cobblestones, but for me, it's still the nicer alternative to the route via Eichstädt.

We also love ice cream. So we already have a few favorites. Eispatz isn't new, though; it moved two years ago (?) and has maintained its quality and friendly atmosphere. Friedrich Wolf Straße 19, 16515 Oranienburg www.eisspatz.de
