The striking circular square, with a bus stop on the side, welcomes all arrivals arriving from the L100 or from Gollin. Very appealing, worth seeing, and informative! There's a fat carved beaver figure to admire, as well as several steles with excerpts from a local author. Erna Taege-Röhnisch (1909–1998) wrote primarily in Low German. Her bust is also on display in the circular plaza.

This once beautiful spot, with its view, has unfortunately become heavily overgrown with reeds. Due to high water levels, which were otherwise welcome, the narrow shoreline has become even smaller. Neither staying here nor swimming is enjoyable. At least there's still some peppermint. Until two years ago, there were masses of them, so they were everywhere along the shoreline; now you have to search for the plants with great effort!

This bathing spot, like the other one further north, has largely lost its charm. Too much reed, a narrow entrance, and you can barely see the lake! Furthermore, the bottom of the water is very muddy. Unfortunately, there's no bench left either; it's long since fallen into disrepair.

Architecturally, it's the most striking building in Bebersee, where all the houses along the main road are listed. The tall, thick trees in front of it lend the former schoolhouse a special character. The interior is currently being renovated. Presumably privately owned, although there's no name on it and no fence.

Built in 1941 as a guesthouse by Carin Hall on behalf of Hermann Göhring! A government guesthouse known in the GDR as "Haus Döllnkrug"! Today a beautiful hotel with a bicycle garage!

Until the Russians withdrew from the airfield, the site was a large open bathing area, which was reclaimed by nature over the years.

With such a chic bus shelter, you'll be happy to get to the stop a little earlier.

this is where Erich Honecker killed his last deer on November 8th, 1989. A day later, the border was opened, heralding the end of the Schorfheide state hunting area. The stone and a plaque commemorate this place.
