Truly impressive animals, the bisons. Unfortunately, when we passed, there were also thousands of horseflies. Because of those little pests, we started an orderly retreat a bit faster than planned with our thin, short cycling clothes... Long, loose and not too thin clothing highly recommended!

A watering hole in the middle of nowhere stands, still as a fading secret. Not drinking water bubbles from the stone, but mist-scent and shadow-play. It collects the round drops of the night, keeps them like stars in a ravine. Wanderers come, their steps weary, find no spring water, find courage. A sign whispers softly: Do not linger, continuing on strengthens the will while walking. The watering hole gives no clear water, but strengthens the heart and nourishes the spirit later.

The Bodman Castle Park is open from April 1st to October 31st, Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Beautifully landscaped paths with various plants/trees, streams, bridges, a rose pavilion and a small chapel overgrown with ivy. A visit is worthwhile 👍

Between Bodman and Wallhausen, the Seeweg (lake path) runs directly along the idyllic shore of Lake Constance. Here you can hike between the two villages on a comfortable trail in close proximity to the water, letting your gaze wander over the lake. Small pebble beaches and many benches invite you to take a break along the way.
