The Waldshut old town with its famous Kaiserstrasse! Very well-preserved and restored houses, many cafes and restaurants, a shopping street with many small shops, invites you to stop, to linger, to have an ice cream or cake with coffee, or simply to be here. Very busy during the day, and peace returns after 10 p.m. Even more pleasant for bikers.

A nice underpass of the busy road. Wide enough to meet another cyclist. Pedestrians are also there, watch out.

The remains of the former paper mill are reminiscent of Albbruck's industrial history. An interesting place for a short stop – especially if you like discovering historical sights on your MTB tour.

From this viewpoint, on a clear day, the view extends all the way to the Alps. The combination of the vast Black Forest heights in the foreground and the peaks on the horizon makes this spot a special highlight and a popular photo stop on the tour.
