Really interesting history of crime and punishment in St Albans. You can buy refreshments in the cafe and then go and eat them in the historic old courtroom. You can also go downstairs to the old cells and into the museum, where there is an excellent history of crime and punishment. There is a place to lock bikes up outside πŸš΄πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Great cycling themed cafe with a large terrace and plenty of bike space. Well worth a stop off on a Chilterns ride.
