Near the Rø lake, in the north of Bornholm, lies this beautiful plateau.

At Klemensker and Rø, in the northeast of Bornholm, lies the Spellinge Mose in a narrow rock crevice, a so-called Sprækkedal. Today's moor was mainly formed by peat extraction during both world wars. The stream Spellinge Å collects here and flows on towards Døndalen, where it forms Denmark's highest waterfall. Above the moor rises an elevation, on which Storeborg once stood, an Iron Age refuge castle. From up here, the view stretches far over the wetlands and the surrounding landscape.

A beautiful valley with a cliff face, a pasture, and a wooden boardwalk. When circling it, you also hike above the valley through a gnarled forest with fantastic paths and views down into the valley. Down in the valley, you can expect to have to share the path with cows :-).

A very nice, quiet place to take a break. Several hiking trails pass by this spot. It's also possible to reach it by bike, but you have to expect to ride a lot on gravel.
