The road is closed. It's barely passable on foot by bicycle, but impassable for mountain bikes. A detour through private property has been set up for mountain bikes; this route is not signposted. As of May 3, 2025. It will likely take another year or two, as the road has collapsed over a long stretch. The location is approximately 1.8 km below Monteleone.

Wouldn't recommend this section as a descent (with the roadbike) as the street is in a very poor condition. For going uphill it's nice though, not too steep and peaceful scenery.
