The Heilige Geestcollege is one of the last residences in Leuven that is exclusively inhabited by boys. Girls are not allowed to stay at the College in principle. However, they are more than welcome at activities. The Heilige Geestcollege, a protected monument, is centrally located in the historical city centre of Leuven and has 150 boys' rooms. You can have breakfast in the dining room during the week, in the evening the cook prepares fresh meals at a reasonable price. Other facilities include the large garden with sports field that is suitable for various sports, the beautiful chapel, the television and newspaper room, the ping-pong room and the student bar. Musicians can use the piano.

The St. Michael's Church in the Naamsestraat in Leuven is one of the most monumental baroque churches in Europe. This is understandable from a historical point of view. Secularization was great at that time and the church building had to lead people back to the church with its monumental appearance. To achieve this goal, the following means were used: the church building was built on the highest point in Leuven and can be recognized from far outside Leuven; the church is very high and was to have a large dome - however, due to the subsidence of one of the columns, the construction of the dome had to be abandoned. The church was excessively decorated with ornaments inside and out. Imagine the current high-rise buildings away and see what an impression this church made on the whole of Leuven; the church still makes this impression more or less from the Brusselsepoort. The church was built by the Jesuit Fathers between 1650 and 1671. The plans were by Father Hesius S.J. The decorations on the west facade - along the Naamsestraat - were made by Jan Van Steen. It is a three-aisled church with a transept, a large choir and two apses and it is built of white sandstone and iron sandstone. In 1944 the building was badly damaged by a bomb. Miraculously the front facade remained upright. Due to the many altar elements that are placed on the front facade, this church is one of the 7 wonders of Leuven: the altar outside the church
