The tiny hamlet on the Krokskogen plateau is popular with hikers and cyclists in the summer, and with skiers in the winter. There is a small hotel and a café by the ski slope. A large parking area is located near the charming chapel.

A beautiful lake surrounded by the forests of Krokskogen. A peaceful place to stop, enjoy the wide lake views, take some photos, and recharge before continuing the ride.

Friendly staff, good food, just a very nice place to rest after a ride. Includes a splash in the lake or sauna inhouse. Staying a night or two makes totally sense since Nordmarka is an endless gravel paradise

A rennovated stable, today Tverrsjøstallen is a simple dining spot that serves food and drink at weekends during the skiing season. While it's closed at other times in the year, the bus stop here is the ideal start point for a hike to Svarttjernshøgda, Nordmarka's highest point.

This small dam bridges the connection between Storflåtan and Vesleflåtan and offers a lovely view on both lakes.

Vikseterfossen is a hidden natural gem located in the Krokskogen region, near Lake Damtjern. The waterfall is part of a stream that flows through a lush, forested ravine, offering a more secluded experience compared to the more frequented trails in the area.
