The Hemplow Hills combine vibrant woodland with stirring vistas to make walking here a delight. They are one of the most scenic sections of the Jurassic Way long-distance trail, boasting beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, particularly towards neighbouring Honey Hill.

Built to supply water to the nearby Grand Union Canal, Welford and Sulby Reservoirs are wonderfully scenic. Keep your eyes peeled for carp beneath the surface. A loop of Welford Reservoir is an easy walk from nearby Welford, where there are also peaceful walking options along the canal.

A couple of unusual buildings that appear to be modelled on gatehouses to some Country Estate - no idea what they are all about. They look suspiciously like Follies but, I am informed, if someone lives in them they are referred to as Whimseys .
