About half the route now has brand new, smooth asphalt. The rest is, and always has been, in good condition.

Also called "The Pig Road" because there are an awful lot of black pigs lying in the fields there.

A small town in the center of the island. It's very popular with tourists on market days (Wednesdays only). Otherwise, it's a tranquil village with a beautiful center. Worth seeing.
