On the outskirts of Riopar, near the fish farm, we will have to cross the Mundo River if we want to climb the calares. The river usually has a lot of flow so you will have to get your feet wet.

Crossing the river to the south of the fish farm is quite an adventure. There is no bridge, therefore you have to ford it. The water is very cool and your feet will surely thank you. I recommend you use river flip flops or booties, since the stones can be a bit uncomfortable when stepping on them.

The track runs along the side of the mountain with hardly any unevenness. There is a shelter with free access, which can help you on windy or rainy days. Among the pine forest, you can timidly observe the silhouette of Calar del Mundo.

This greenway runs along the plain next to the river. The path is narrow, but it is in good condition. It is a pleasure to walk quietly where the railroad tracks once were.
