Great place to bivouac near Tours. Quite a bit of traffic because it's along a cycle path but there is a fountain not far from a picnic table. The Loire is right next door, so you can enjoy a magnificent setting.

The Saint-Symphorien footbridge (called “Pont de fil” among the Tourangeaux) is a pedestrian and cycle footbridge. It was built from 1845 to 1847 by the Seguin brothers, on the remains of the city's old medieval bridge. At night, the blue neon lights that light up the footbridge give it very modern hues.

Very nice track, a tarred part for bikes on one side, paved for pedestrians on the other and the tram in the middle... Finally, at night, it offers a beautiful view

The most beautiful cycle path in Tours. The Wilson bridge is now free of all motorized traffic, the road has become a track and offers a superb panorama of the Loire, without the sound of motors or horns. Gorgeous !
