Bikepacking trip with a night bivouac on the shores of Lac des Rousses, beach side. Very windy at night, so wrap up warm. Otherwise, a magnificent lake with few people (early August).

Unmanned hut, nice to sleep a night. There is a stove (wood fired), inside and outside are picnic tables and in the attic you can sleep with 8 people. On the road that runs along it, cars or cyclists/runners pass by every now and then. So it is not completely remote, but it is quiet.
