If it is ultimately not a 100% wild horse since it has domestic horse origins, Przewalski's horse, whose morphology unequivocally recalls the prehistoric horses that can be observed on parietal representations, is considered like a wild animal. It is thus the subject of a reintroduction in Mongolia and as such, a herd in semi-freedom in the Cévennes actively participates in this reintroduction via the French association Takh (name of the horse in Mongolian) based in Villaret. With a little luck, you will be able to observe them in the distance.
