still a nice road but the asphalt is getting quite a bit worse with lots of small potholes mostly patched with lumpy asphalt plus some cracks

the gravel thingy has new asphalt (along with a couple of other spots) so now okay asphalt throughout

the signposted route around the lake makes this little detour, roadbikeable gravel with a section right next to the lake, but pretty narrow so it looks like it can get crowded quite easily, so personally I’d rather just keep riding on Rantatie and Kirkkotie (and the roadside path connecting the two) instead

lots of historical buildings (almost everybody important in the Finnish art scene ~1900 lived here somewhere, Sibelius probably the best known of the lot outside Finland but his villa (Ainola) was a bit further away from the lake) and occasional nice lakeside views, not too much traffic, almost flat, okay asphalt

not too much traffic, twisting and turning with gently rolling hills, okay asphalt (with cracks and the occasional small pothole)
