Church built between 1763 and 1772 that replaced the old temple from the Templar era that is referred to in the People's Charter of 1206 when talking about the right of religion and home. It was made under the patronage of the Templars and later passed into the hands of the Hospitallers. The commander of Miravet was in charge of appointing and maintaining the priest. On February 4, 1760, the councilors agreed on the right to twelve of all the fruits to build the new church, since the old one was in danger. The foundation stone was laid on June 6, 1763. The bells were requisitioned by the Government of the Republic on October 10, 1936 to use the bronze for war weapons. Part of the bell tower was destroyed and it was rebuilt again, placing the bells, one in 1942 and the other in 1961, the latter by popular contribution.
