The Molino de La Calcetera is located on Paseo de la Mota in San Pedro del Pinatar, in the Region of Murcia. Together with the Molino Quintín, these mills are prominent elements of the landscape of the Salinas de San Pedro Regional Park. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, their main function was to raise water from the Mar Menor to the salt ponds12. Although they are no longer in use, they remain as witnesses to the salt activity that still takes place in the area.

Playa de la Llana is a nice beach with shallow water for toddlers to run around freely. Nice sandy beach and of course in certain periods of the year with mountains of seaweed. And no facilities such as toilets etc. Recommended if you are looking for a quieter less crowded beach.

Natural beach, very clean. There are large amounts of posidonia. This means that the water is fairly free of contamination and that the dunes and the ecosystem of the beach in general are improving compared to the past.

The Cabo de Palos Lighthouse is an impressive local landmark. It stands on a rocky headland on the Mediterranean coast, close to the town of Cabo de Palos and near the popular holiday region of La Manga del Mar Menor. The lighthouse is visible from afar and attracts many visitors. The lighthouse was commissioned in 1865 and stands on a site that has been used by sailors for centuries. In ancient times there was a watchtower there to monitor the coast. The lighthouse itself is not open to the public, but it is possible to drive up to the top and visit the outside area. From there you have spectacular views over the rocky coastline and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

The Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro Regional Park in Murcia stretches over a 6-kilometer-long stretch of Mediterranean coast between the towns of San Pedro del Pinatar and San Javier. The declared SPA bird sanctuary serves as a refuge for flocks of flamingos and other migratory birds.
