The best place to start and/or end any route. Final stop of many routes that end on the coast, with many bars and parking. Going up the port, you can reach the metro (Algorta) in 5-10 minutes.

The elevator is free and you can take your bike up (as long as it doesn't get in the way too much). Although it is free, you must have a BARIK card (Bizkaia transportation card, can be purchased at any metro station) to use it.

The beach is accessible by public transport from Algorta or from Neguri. From Algorta, there is a free elevator (you need to have a BARIK card but it does not cost money to use it) that connects the beach with the center of the neighborhood. The beach has several services (restaurants, bars, public toilets, lifeguards in summer) and parking is regulated.

If you don't feel like walking anymore, you can simply take the train up. At the top it's still a few meters to the metro, which then goes back to the city.
