Downtown Jamestown is full of historic buildings. The city was a hub for timber, furniture building and bricks in the 1800 and 1900s, so there are still many remnants of this time around town. The city was also home to Lucille Ball, so there is a museum dedicated to her.

The Jamestown Riverwalk is a great paved path that winds through downtown Jamestown and then follows the river out of town. It is a great walk to get a mixture of civilization and nature.

Lucille Ball Memorial Park is a nice, small village park on the banks of Chautauqua Lake. Celoron is the hometown of Lucille Ball, so there are several statues in the park in honor of the actor.
