Big Creek Trail is one of my favorite rides near Atlanta. Smooth paths, beautiful wooded sections, and a peaceful creek alongside much of the trail make it a perfect escape from the city.

The Big Creek Greenway can be accessed at various locations, including this Bethelview Trailhead. The greenway is 12 ft in width and mostly concrete or boardwalk. Facilities along (or close to) the trail include multiple parking areas, toilets and playgrounds. Although the whole Big Creek Greenway is approximately 26 miles in length, there are various sections which are not complete. Keep up to date with the opening times of the trail, as it is closed overnight.
