June 26, 2025, Uncompahgre River Walk

This mostly paved path runs through the west end of Montrose and parallel to the Uncompahgre River. It is a calm and structured trail with some parts still under development. Baldridge Park and Ute Park have some short trails that connect to the river walk and the path continues for several miles south from there. This section converging with Chipeta Drive is usually a good turn around point for a hike along the path, as sparse roadways only continue south from here.
