A beautiful desert trail — if you get lucky you might see wildflowers in spring, but usually the predominant greenery(?) is the alien-looking saguaro cactuses. The trail crosses a few washes, so be aware of potential variance in water conditions. Often there's none, sometimes there's a little, and rarely there is a lot.

Pink Hill Trail heads almost due east staying fairly level with very minor elevation changes. Between the Loma Verde Wash and Monument Wash is Pink Hill, a small hill rising above the desert floor. Pink Hill is named for the iron rust found on the sides of the hill, giving it it's distinct color.
