Sycamore Canyon is really beautiful this time of year (January). There were 7 creek crossings to navigate, so expect wet shoes and socks if you do the entire length of the trail.

This is a beautiful scenic ride between Hidden Valley and Lake Sherwood. The road is well-paved, the shoulder is good, and you have nonstop views of the mountains across ranch and farmland.

Lake Sherwood Drive takes you out along the water, and though the shoulder isn't great, there is a space for bikes and cars to pull over and enjoy the view.

The Wood Canyon Vista and Backbone Trailhead has a picnic table and water source. There are no reliable water sources along the trails, so make sure you are prepared before starting.

North-Eastern entrance to this amazing park, dropping from the Santa Monica Mountain Range Crest via the smooth Sycamore Canyon Road - and with its continuation as a gravel fire road - to the Pacific coast.

Westlake Lake is a stunning lake privately maintained for the residents of Westlake Village. However, there are many ways to enjoy its beauty. Popular activities include running, cycling, and walking around the lake via Triunfo Canyon and other adjacent streets. On the lake's southwest side, several lakefront restaurants offer indoor/outdoor dining. Alternatively, you can stroll around, enjoying the sweeping views and serenity.
