The Kastelina fortress stands proudly on the edge of the southeastern shore of Vir, in Kozjak Bay. It was built at the beginning of the 17th century to protect against attacks by the Ottomans. Today it is a popular photo subject. If you follow the road further towards Vir, there is a parking lot. From there, a footpath leads to the ruins.
