A monument dedicated to the residents of Sieraków, soldiers of the 8th District of the 7th Obroża District of the Home Army, and concentration camp prisoners who died and were murdered during World War II. The memorial site is dedicated to the residents of Sieraków who fought underground in the Home Army during World War II, including in the Warsaw Uprising. Three elements can be found here: a commemorative plaque with the names of 35 people who died fighting for a free Poland, a boulder with the symbol of Fighting Poland, and a historic chapel with the Virgin Mary.

The history of the African Missions Centre dates back to 1990, when missionaries from the African Missions Association (SMA) arrived in Borzęcin Duży. The SMA (Societas Missionum ad Afros) is a male Roman Catholic missionary congregation founded in 1856 by Bishop Melchior de Marion-Brésillac to proclaim Christ to the peoples of Africa, especially those who had not yet heard of Him. From the very beginning, the SMA had an international character. The first missionaries came from France, Spain and Italy. Over time, other countries joined this work, sending their missionaries to Africa. Today, the SMA is a large international family, bringing together not only missionaries from Europe and America, but also from India, the Philippines and many African countries. The charism, or special vocation, of the Society of African Missions congregation is: to proclaim the Good News in the areas not yet evangelized in Africa and among people of African origin, to create independent Christian communities, as well as to promote Africa in a broad sense, including bringing the richness of African culture and civilization closer to Europe.
