From km 2 onwards the road is closed to traffic most hours of the day, so the climb is very quiet.

Easier to climb and more beautiful in terms of views from Canillo. Although it's more pleasant to ride through the trees starting from Ordino.

The little church of Sant Cristòfol overlooks the Serra del Honor, which recalls the army of Charlemagne who, almost overwhelmed by the Arabs, fought until an unexpected victory, harangued by the king.

Beautiful Romanesque church with a bell tower. Typical construction of Andorran Romanesque architecture.

Just outside Canillo, towards Port d'Envalira, next to the main road, you will find one of the Romanesque pearls of the Principality of Andorra. It is worth taking a look and taking a photo.

Els Cortals d'Encamp is a very tough and beautiful stop, the end of the "La Purito" cycle tour. It has also been the final of the Volta a Catalunya and the Vuelta a España. He still has to debut in the Tour de France. The first 4 km after the roundabout at the exit of Encamp are the hardest, with several sections and ramps above 10%. Once you reach Les Pardines, the slope descends, enjoying the beautiful views of Els Cortals. Els Cortals is one of the entrance doors to the Grandvalira station.
